Fitness classes and Running

Classes for mums run by mum.

Social Run

Tuesdays ST ANNE`s WELL GARDENS 16:30 – 17:15

Social run to unwind from the day. These runs are not about pace but about community, support and friendships. We are running in loops so faster ones can go out and come back for the rest. Runs are 45 min (5 – 7 km). You should be able to run 5km continuously to join (at the pace you can keep conversation).

Sorry no babies or kids at this run, however we can chat about them as much as we want during the run. This run is meant for your headspace.

Come ready to run, there will be no bag drop.

Aids the return to normal weight.

#WalkAndTalk

Brighton Jubilee Library (meet outside)

First Monday of the month (unless BH, see dates on Happity app) 13:00 – 14:00

The #WalkAndTalk aim is to:

Get parents talking about mental health, sharing their parenthood experiences (good and bad) and removing stigma.

Raise awareness of mental health problems, including Baby blues and Postpartum depression.

Support parents to be physically active through walking.

We will meet each week for an hour walk covering approximately 3 miles/5km. Come with or without the little one in a buggy or sling. Grab a cuppa and lets walk 🙂

We start and finish walk at the library. There are changing facilities and toilets inside the library.

It is free to attend but please book, so I can contact you, in case the event is cancelled.

“I look forward to this class every Friday! A really friendly class which you can adapt depending on your level and what point you are getting back to exercise after having a baby. I started when my baby was about 4 / 5 months old and he is just over one now and very active but he loves playing with the other babies while I have a chance to workout – win win!
